Carringbush has a vibrant and professional volunteering program with volunteers currently active in the following roles:
English Tutors
Volunteers support learning outcomes for students in a variety of English as an Additional Language class.
Adult Literacy Tutors
The Carringbush Adult Literacy program supports adults with low levels of English literacy to develop their skills through intensive tutoring with skilled volunteers. Tutors work one-to-one and with small groups to address the immediate learning needs of adults in their daily lives
Children’s Play and Learning Support Volunteers
Children’s Play and Learning Support Volunteers assist young children from diverse backgrounds to develop a broad range of skills with a focus on early literacy, through play, craft, story-telling, songs and games.
Administration volunteers
Volunteers support office staff with administrative duties, assisting Carringbush to deliver high quality programs to people experiencing disadvantage.
Special Project Volunteers
Special Project Volunteers support Carringbush through internships, short term projects or in delivery of workshops.
