Reconnect Program

Reconnect assists participants to overcome the barriers preventing them from engaging in education, training and employment and provides support into further study or employment pathways. This is a long-term, individualised mentoring and wrap-around case work program developed and funded by the Department of Education Training,

Referral and Support Service (RASS)

This service provides direct assistance (e.g. form filling), advocacy and supported referrals to appropriate services for public and community housing residents in the City of Yarra. Services and support include:

  • Form filling
  • Citizenship applications
  • Financial issues
  • Referrals into health, social work and counselling services
  • Referrals for family support
  • Referrals for legal issues
  • Education and employment pathways support
  • Liaison and advocacy with services
  • Digital access support

The Referral and Support Service is divided into two separate programs:

  • North Richmond RASS, delivered in outreach model on the Richmond Housing Estate and at the Richmond Library building, funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
  • Collingwood Women’s RASS, delivered in partnership with the Neighbourhood Justice Centre, funded by City of Yarra Annual Grants.

 

Family and Individual Hardship Support

Food and financial aid for existing Carringbush clients who meet specific criteria for significant financial hardship or crisis, such as financial violence or homelessness, funded by the Woodard’s Foundation.

Digital Access and Devices Support

Carringbush provides digital devices for loan though our Device Library for students enrolled in our programs, as well as internet data for online learning and individual Digital Mentoring.
